New Summer Interns!

 SUMMER INTERNS!!!

Hi! I’m Alex Harmel, one of the new interns at CPC. I’m currently in school at Maryland Institute College of Art where I am studying general fine art and art education. I was first introduced to printmaking at CPC and fell in love with the medium after taking an etching class here. I really enjoy etching, relief, and lithography, but am excited to learn about all the other processes while interning here. You can check out some of my current work here: www.behance.net/aharmel. Hi!! My name is Rachelle and I am one of the new interns here at Chicago Printmakers Collaborative. I’m very excited to be surrounded by so many artists and friendly supporters of CPC. I am a printmaker and educator living/working in Chicago, originally from the Metro-Detroit area (Yes to the Mid-west!). I’m finishing up school next semester with a Bachelors of Arts, concentration in printmaking at Northeastern Illinois University. I also volunteer with ArtReach at Lillstreet and assist in bringing art to under-resourced communities. I enjoy all forms of printmaking; lately I’ve been combining lithography and monotype in my work. You can view some of my work here:
